Common questions

Where is the app after I open it?

LGTM is in the menu bar at the top of the screen. It has no Dock icon, except while the large panel window is open. Press ⌥⌘L to open the panel from any app.

Why do I not see pull requests from my organization?

Some organizations must approve an app before it can read their private repositories. Ask an owner of the organization to approve LGTM, or request approval at github.com/settings/applications. Also make sure that the organization is on in LGTM Settings.

How do I sign out?

Open LGTM Settings and click Sign Out. LGTM deletes its token. If you signed in with GitHub, LGTM also removes its access on GitHub.

Can I use a personal access token?

Yes. In Settings, open Use an access token instead. Select the token type and paste the token.

• Fine-grained: give read access to Pull requests, Contents, and Commit statuses. The token covers the private repositories of one owner and all public repositories.
• Classic: give the repo and read:org scopes. Some organizations do not allow classic tokens.
