Summary

LGTM does not collect, sell, or share your data. The app talks directly to GitHub. Your GitHub token stays on your Mac.

What the app stores

  • GitHub access token. The app stores it in the macOS Keychain on your Mac. The app uses it only to read your pull requests from GitHub.
  • Settings. Your organization filter, panel layout, and keyboard shortcut stay in the app container on your Mac.

The app has no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.

What this website does

When you click Sign in with GitHub, uselgtm.app changes a one-time GitHub authorization code into an access token and sends the token back to the app. When you sign out, it asks GitHub to remove the app’s access. If you paste a token yourself, the token does not go to uselgtm.app. The website does not store tokens. Its logs keep only the request method, path, status, and time. They do not keep tokens or codes.

GitHub

LGTM reads data from GitHub with your permission. GitHub’s use of your data follows the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Delete your data

  • Click Sign Out in LGTM Settings. The app deletes the token from the Keychain. If you signed in with GitHub, the app also removes its access on GitHub.
  • Delete the app to remove its settings.
  • You can also remove access at any time at github.com/settings/applications.
